Soldiers
Human
Strategy: If something doesn't die from the first shotgun blast, use Adrenaline Rush to reload and shoot them again. Adrenaline Rush can also be used defensively to restore some shields.
Human
Strategy: This build uses the Acolyte to strip shielding, and its high probability of applying ammo effects, to freeze them. Concussive Shot, with the Shatter evolution, will then do significantly more damage to enemies. For armored targets, rely on Frag Grenades and your trusty SMG.
Batarian
Strategy: Very effective in melee range, Inferno Grenades and Ballistic Blades can decimate several enemies at once.
Variations: Instead of removing shielding with a Reegar Carbine, the Venom shotgun can be used to stagger enemies. |
N7 Destroyer
Strategy: The extra magazine size and shields provided by Devastator Mode allow you to do very well with charged up, high capacity assault rifles like the Particle Rifle or N7 Typhoon. Since you will also be slowed, the force of Multi-Frag Grenades should be enough to stagger any enemies that happen to get close, allowing you to escape.
Geth Trooper
Strategy: Run around and set things on fire. This build can optionally use an SMG or lightweight shotgun to increase firepower. The relatively minor power increase from Hunter Mode is not taken as it would negate the benefits of having Fortification and a very high amount of shields.
Geth Juggernaut
Strategy: Due to your slow movement speed and the inability to take cover, plenty of enemies will be in your face. Use your Hex Shield to protect against distant enemies, and your shotgun to kill enemies surrounding you. If preferred, a long-range weapon of your choosing, such as the Particle Rifle, or even the Black Widow can be used instead. This works particularly well with Siege Pulse to finish off lesser enemies.
Variations: For more damage, you can drop the last evolution of Hardened Platform and its damage penalty, for the Geth Turret. The larger Hex Shield may also be useful for various objective waves, but take care with its placement, as your teammates may not like it placed in their line of fire. |
